We begin by placing this image in the context of the entirety of the Suit of Batons, focusing the mantra HE WILLS on the region of the solar plexus. The reader is then encouraged to move the first part of the Inner Radiance Sequence, beginning with the mantra “In purest outpoured light radiates the Godhead of the world”, and then working through the chakras from root to crown in relation to the seven Healing Miracles and the seven I AM statements.
We then bring the Knight of Batons into relation with the 3rd Letter of the Divine Alphabet: Gimel; the Third Arcanum: The Empress; and the quality of “Sacred Magic.” This finds its radiation in the Tree of Life between the sephira on the crown (Eternity) and the left side of the head (Warmth). Those who know the Grail Knight’s Practice can then perform the 3rd part: the Gethsemane Experience and Levels of Apocalyptic Judgement; “Thy Will Be Done on Earth as it is in Heaven.”
The Apocalypse readings for the Knight of Batons come from Chapter 21:25-27, 22:1-5:
And her gates shall most certainly not be closed by day, for night will not exist there; and they bring glory and the worth of the gentiles into her. And nothing profane, and no one who causes abomination and falsehood, may by any means enter therein, except those written in the suckling lamb’s book of life.
And he showed me a river of life’s water, bright as crystal, coming forth from the throne of God and the suckling lamb. In the middle of her street, and on either side of the river, was a tree producing twelve harvests of fruit, yielding its fruit each month, and the leaves of the tree are for a healing of the gentiles. And no longer will there be anything accursed; and the throne of God and the suckling lamb will be therein, and his slaves will worship him, and they will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. And there will be no more night, and they have no need of lantern light and sunlight because the Lord God will shine upon them, and they will reign unto the ages of the ages.
